Having obtained a BA Degree in Fine Art in Coventry University ,Kalina is on her way of becoming a successful arts practitioner. Her recent works revolve around the “fetishization” of women in our society, and the masking out of their true identity, which is sometimes the result from that.
Those paintings stretch the boundaries of reality and surrealism, keeping the viewer always guessing. She relates to art as a medium trough which we communicate a message to others, a message that can be interpreted in many different ways, individual for everyone.
She uses art as a way of communicating the things which can sometimes not be explained with the restrictions that language puts on us, but rather felt from the observer. Innovating and creating the future aesthetic of what we call art and what she calls: “Expressing the inexpressible”.
